AN ARGUABLY UNEXPECTED ROLESWAP

During the early stages of Super Danganronpa 2's Development, a crucial decision was made on a whim.

Hajime Hinata, who'd originally been conceived as the game's protagonist, saw his role reassigned to Ultimate Photographer Mahiru Koizumi.

As a nod to this redirection, the game was given a second name: Danganronpa MK2.

The game begins very similarly to what had originally been envisioned, but in due time comes to tell a very different story...
